Consultancy to Produce and Collate Existing Data on Forest and Landscape Restoration (FLR) Projects from Four (4) AFR100 Countries (Malawi, Kenya, Nigeria, and Tanzania) into the AFR100 Monitoring System at AUDA-NEPAD
Awarded to Dr. Kofi Quartey of Green Angel Innovations 88 (Pty) Ltd and Project Manager of SEAD1, this strategic consultancy was commissioned by AUDA-NEPAD to consolidate existing Forest and Landscape Restoration (FLR) data into the AFR100 Monitoring System for four priority countries: Malawi, Kenya, Nigeria, and Tanzania.
The assignment focused on the collection, cleaning, spatial analysis, and system integration of FLR data, using advanced tools such as ArcGIS Survey123 and high-resolution NICFI satellite imagery. The work helps keep track of AFR100 restoration promises based on solid evidence and aids in creating interactive dashboards for AUDA-NEPAD’s continental registry.
SEAD1 served as a supporting partner, contributing technical backstopping during field engagement, data management, and stakeholder coordination across the four select countries
